It's been a year since I started this blog =)
Why did I start this blog? The reason is.... for fun... xD

So...
How did the name AstrayP03 come about?
Well, as you guys would know the gundam freak that I used to be, the name is probably related to gundam right? Well, yeah.... In fact, the Astrays are my favourite MS in the gundam universe. P03 stands for prototype 03. So AstrayP03 is the third prototype of the Astrays.

Well, that was last time,

Now the term Astray actually signifies something different.

Astray does not mean to deviate.
On the contrary, it means to take the road less taken.
To be different from others.
To stray. Rules can only get you that far.
To choose your own path.
That is the true meaning of Astray

In fact, i've been wondering... why ask me about my url? i've seen wierder ones (and longer) such as:

When I was back in Johor my cousin gave me a whole set of gashapon items... she bought an extra set apparently... haha, untung la aku xD

anyways, here they are ^^ the Skygrasper, Chaos, M1 Astray and the 'drill monster' are my old ones ^^

So what are gashapons, really...
Well, Gashapons are actually capsule toys, or toys in balls xD
The word Gashapon originated from the Gat-cha sound that it makes when one turns the dial. and abrakadabra! a ball comes out...
Gashapons, as I know it, are worth your money depending on which grade you buy... the higher quality ones cost RM12, which is 3 tokens. the lover quality ones require only 1 token and the better ones require 2 tokens

Most people I know, or ALL for that matter... thinks gashapons are for kids -.- well technically, they are... but they aren't LIMITED to kids. those kids have only one intention. and that is to obtain these 'toys'. OLDER kids like me... get gashapons for the fun of it... hehe... I mean, part of the fun is to collect them and display/collect dust another is the thrill of not knowing what you might obtain... whether it be a Zaku or a Gouf.

However, the possibility of obtaining two of the same unit is almost 100 percent unless, of course you cheat like my cousin who bought these -.-
unlucky ones won't get two of the same unit, they get AN ARMY of the same unit...
I mean, thats where the other 'fun' comes in... you feel like killing yourself if you obtain another Zaku -.-

GI Joe Movie Outing

The movie starts at 1600hours but we went in like, 15 minutes late -.-
reason? we accidentally locked yan shan in the toilet xD or did she lock herself in? not very sure...
I think it's the latter tho... xP

anyways, thankfully the movie didn't start yet (there was another 5-10 minutes of advertisement -.-) so yeah, we went to our seats and when the movie started we were like WTF? Instead of State-of-art technology we were greeted by a 1641 scene -.-

Me: eh eh, wrong movie ar?
Xing: I think so lol
Me: eh... u sure it's theater 2 arr?
Ivan: should be correct lar...

then came in the near future -.-

I gotta admit, GI Joe was amazing and disappointing at the same time...
Disappointing because, well... the accelerator suits made only one appearance -.- in action, I mean....

Amazing, well... there was a lot of boom boom pow xD Terminator had a lot of boom boom pow too but what set it apart from Terminator is that GI Joe has a plot -.-
yeah... great story, great effects, hot actors ^^ *drools at Sienna Miller* boo Megan Fox xD

hmm... I think it even knocked Transformers out of my fav list for this yr's movies ^^ But then again that's just me =) still can't beat Watchmen tho...

Oh, and and and Brendan Fraser makes an appearance in the movie ^^
I may be too harsh on him, but this is the first time he's not in a flop in years! Yay!

Snake Eye's (Ray Park aka Darth Maul) performance was laughable... well, his mask was... with the protruding lips and all... but seriously, he was a waste of space -.-
having taken a vow of silence, I pity him... not being able to swear after getting his @$$ kicked by Storm Shadow xP

Glad to say i've been recovering... until this morning.... when I vomited...

Met up with an ex-teacher of mine in Mid Valley today...
well, ex-trainee teacher... XD she taught us for about 3 months in 2007...
she's from Sarawak... she brought her students to the peninsular for a Bible Knowledge quiz.
she's very fun to be with, outgoing and fun loving too ^^

Yep... I'm actually considering to stop Gunpla-ing.
so this might be my final project ^^
currently 80% done with my Unicorn, planning to do something special since it might be my last kit...
like, make it stand out from other unicorns out there... since my 'green' unicorn isn't so special already after they introduced FA Unicorn... -.-
so yeah, stay tuned for my final WIP post =)
